The WiMAX Guys™ specialize in installing wireless networks, also known as hotspots.

We provide a variety of services for companies wishing to establish public or private hotspots:

• Wireless Installation - We use powerful, commercial grade equipment to economically unwire your property. Because of our best-of-breed solution, we can usually complete the job using a half to two-thirds as much equipment as competitive solutions. This translates into bottom line savings for your company. We can also use an existing cable TV network for connectivity to the wireless access points, potentially saving you money compared to the cost of running network cables.
  
  
• High Speed Internet - If you have a high speed line, we can use that, but if you don't, through our partnership with US Internet, we can offer you DSL or T-1 Internet connectivity. Plus, we can manage the connection, giving you a single point of contact for any issues.
  
  
• Network Management - We manage the wireless networks we install and, if you have an existing wired network, we can take over management of that, reducing your headaches.
  
  
• 24/7 Support - We provide 24/7/365 support for network or user issues. Depending on the plan you choose, we can include all repair services, including replacing any equipment as needed. Unlike other solutions, you can rest assured we'll keep your network up and running without all the finger pointing that is common when multiple vendors are involved.
  
  
• Network Intrusion Detection - We offer an affordable solution to monitor your wireless network to detect most of the common attacks and exploits hackers use. Not only that, but once we find an attack, we can isolate the attacker from your wireless network and even block him from using other wireless hotspots in our network.
  
  
• Digital Security Cameras - We can install wired or wireless digital security cameras that provide significant advantages over traditional analog cameras:
  
  • Instantly retrieve relevant data without going through hours and hours of videotape. Search by camera, time, date, alarm activation or even motion.

  • Digital video images are clearer than video recorded on analog tape and they can be enhanced and copied over and over without losing their original quality and archived to CD-R or DVD for later retrieval. 

  • Transmit and retrieve video on the Web, across town or across the world. Images can be remotely viewed, saved, retrieved, displayed, copied, printed, faxed and even e-mailed.
    
  • No tapes to be replaced, lost or destroyed. 

  • Less potential of obsolescence because our system's software can be upgraded with new innovations.

  • Unlike analog video systems, in which only about 1 percent of recorded data is useful for security purposes, with digital systems, 50 percent or more can be utilized due to better indexing and retrieval.
